Kim joined FTE in July 2006 after graduating from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology, where she earned a Master of Divinity degree.

She has since completed a Master of Theology degree at Candler specializing in ethics. Her interest in the intersection of theology, ethics and public policy have sparked her participation in the National Capitol Semester for Seminarians program and service as an intern for The National Council for Adoption, both in Washington, D.C. Kim has also served as an intern at the Center for Ethics at Emory.

Currently she is serving on an interdisciplinary grant team at Emory University exploring pastoral perspectives on genetic testing. Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and has more than ten years of marketing experience working for Verizon. She is the mother of three children, a member of St. Columba’sEpiscopal Church and a trained Stephen Ministry leader and Disciple Bible Study facilitator.

Kim previously served as a regional director for FTE’s Calling Congregations initiative.
