Before joining The Fund for Theological Education, Jim Goodmann served as program director for the Lilly Endowment-funded Theological Exploration of Vocation at Sewanee: the University of the South in Tennessee. Prior to his appointment at Sewanee, Jim was the director of campus ministry and the Peace and Justice Center at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. His career in ministry and education has included association management and serving as an outreach minister in New York City. Jim is a graduate of the University of St. Michael's College in Toronto and holds a Master of Divinity degree from Yale Divinity School. He is a member of the Episcopal church. His reviews of writings on theology, spirituality and social questions have appeared in the Sewanee Theological Review and The National Catholic Reporter.
