To improve the supply, quality and diversity of young candidates for ministry and teaching, The Fund for Theological Education (FTE) will award $1.3 million in fellowships and other support to more than 190 college, seminary and doctoral students nationwide named as 2006 FTE Fellows.

Dr. Sharon Watson Fluker and Melissa Wiginton have been appointed vice presidents of The Fund for Theological Education (FTE). In these roles, Fluker and Wiginton assume increased management responsibilities for strategic planning and administration for the Fund in its work to support the next generation of gifted pastors and scholars.
