Transition Into Ministry
Transition into Ministry provides leadership development resources to pastors in their earliest years of ministry. TiM helps young pastors move through the often difficult transition from seminary student to pastor, fostering pastoral leadership practices that enrich congregational life.
Welcome Transition into Ministry program participants, congregations and institutions! Transition into Ministry (TiM) is a Lilly Endowment program coordinated with The Fund for Theological Education.
This site is for current program participants, alumni of the TiM program and congregations and institutions interested in learning about the residency model. Here you will find a growing body of information and resources on the early years of ministry and the unique gifts and opportunities of this initiative. Nearly 1,000 pastors have participated in the TiM program. They represent the breadth and depth of diversity and excellence in the practice of ministry.
